The deal will provide support for more than 200-part numbers for the Philippine Air Force’s fleet of six A-29 Super Tucano aircraft that were delivered in 2020, during the global pandemic.
The aircraft are operated and maintained by the Philippine Air Force’s 15th Strike Wing.

With more than 260 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft delivered to 16 air force’s around the world, the turboprop fighter has accumulated over 500,000 flight hours flown, of which approximately 60,00 have been on active operations.
The A-29 Super Tucano is the only aircraft in its category equipped with an internal machine gun, which releases pylons for use with other weapons and allows for more than 160 configuration possibilities. The aircraft can also be used for training, reconnaissance, support and much more.
In South East Asia, two air forces operate the plane – Philippines and Indonesia.
